You are invited to share your feedback on proposals by Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire for a new residential development on Land north of Bradford Road, Nab Wood, Shipley.
The Site is identified as a draft housing allocation (‘SH5/H – Bingley Road, Nab Wood’) within the emerging Bradford District Local Plan.
The proposals include a mix of market and affordable homes across a range of types and sizes, alongside areas of public open space, landscaping and biodiversity enhancements. The proposed development would contribute towards meeting identified housing needs within the district.
This website provides information about the proposed development and an opportunity to share feedback on the emerging proposals. Following this consultation, the feedback received will be considered before a planning application is submitted to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

The consultation will run until 12 noon on Wednesday 15 July 2026.
All feedback will be reviewed and considered as the proposals are refined prior to the submission of the planning application. There will also be a further opportunity to comment on the proposals through the Council’s statutory planning consultation process.
